Open To: Swimmer’s qualifying according to the rules below:

National qualifiers work differently to other meets we enter.  These meets continue to accept entries from everyone up until their entry deadline (Friday 28th Feb in this case).  Entries have to be faster or equal to the entry times published for the meet.  Once entry has closed, if the meet is over capacity, each entry time is lowered by the same proportion and the slowest entries are rejected until the number reach capacity. Please note that there will be a maximum of 30 swimmers allowed for the 800 free and 20 swimmers for the 1500m free.  The slowest entries will be rejected as described above.  You are then only charged for your accepted entries.

Attached is the York City meet schedule and their cut off times, but please note their times are quite slow compared to other National Qualifiers.  This means that all swimmers can at least be considered, but it is a bit of a lottery as you don’t know what those rejection times will be.
